Dates move with the weather and with how long your permit office takes.
How the window works
Crews can only be in so many yards at once, and the building months are the same for everyone. A yard visited in winter gets a place in the spring queue, and a yard visited in June may build in the fall.
We tell you where you stand at the end of the visit, and we say it again when the permit comes back. If a date moves, you hear it from Nolan, not from the crew.
What you can do in winter
- Book an evening yard visit
- Choose a material from sample boards
- Sign the scope and let us file the permit
- Pick lights and a railing style
